Dr. Lisa Hillier grew up in Marietta, Georgia dreaming of being a veterinarian when she grew up. She graduated from Osborne High School and did her undergraduate work at the University of Georgia graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Animal Science.  She continued at UGA’s College of Veterinary Medicine, realizing her dream by graduating as a veterinarian in 1991.   She practiced at Roswell Animal Hospital in Roswell, GA for 16 years before making another dream come true by opening South Forsyth Animal Hospital in May, 2007. 

Dr. Hillier has an interest in oncology, soft tissue surgery, and the geriatric patient, but she has a particular passion for feline medicine. 

Dr. Hillier has been married for 19 years and has 4 children ages 14, 13, 9, and 6. Her four-legged kids include a 3 year old Great Dane named Fern, an 19 year old Jack Russell Terrier named Lillie, Tigger a 6 year old mixed breed, and 2 year old Coconut, the cat who rules the roost.  With a family full of kids and pets, she loves to have children who dream of being a veterinarian (like she did) visit South Forsyth Animal Hospital.
