JASON LAUBERSHEIMER Jason initially pursued a career in business, attending the University of South Alabama for 3 years, with the intention of obtaining a degree in Accounting and Small Business. Concurrently he worked his way up to General Manager of a local chain of stores in Mobile, where he oversaw 4 stores, 2 of which he opened himself. Despite the financial success, this path was not rewarding. In 2003, he relocated to Atlanta and began working at Roswell Animal Hospital. Always having wanted to work with animals, he realized pursuing a career in veterinary medicine would be more fulfilling and changed courses. He quickly worked his way up to technician. Jason came with Dr’s Hillier and O’Neal in May of 2007 and assisted in opening South Forsyth Animal Hospital. In June of 2008 he became certified as a Registered Veterinary Technician. He is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Biology at Kennesaw State University and plans to apply to the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Jason has a wonderful rapport with our patients. Even the most nervous patients seem to trust him, making for a less stressful visit. This same calm, patient manner and quick thinking make Jason an invaluable asset during surgeries and emergencies. Having been with SFAH since day one, Jason wears many hats. In addition to being one of our most experienced technicians, he also assists as a computer technician, small business advisor, and general handyman. In his limited spare time Jason enjoys hiking and camping with his Doberman Pincer, Ladybug and his Miniature Schnauzer, Skyla.
