megan peuster

Megan is a registered veterinary technician (RVT) who graduated from Gwinnett Tech in the spring of 2010 with an Associates of Applied Science/Veterinary Technology degree.  She was awarded Valedictorian of her graduating class.  Megan completed her technical externship with us, and we liked her so much we asked her to stay!

Megan was born in Melbourne, Fl and moved to Atlanta in 1996.  Her grandmother remembers her wanting to work with animals since she was a small child.  Megan has a 3 year old border collie/chow named Lucy, 3 cats-Phatty, Kitty, and Sly, and 4 fish. 

Megan has 4 years of experience in the veterinary field including externships in emergency medicine, anesthesia, and both general and specialty practices.  She is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Biology at Kennesaw State University.  She is considering a career as a veterinarian or a specialty technician (anesthesia or critical care).
